Colorbond® Steel – Garage Sectional and Roller Doors

• 10 Year Structural Guarantee
• 3 months on parts and labour from date of installation

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY – This WARRANTY shall remain in effect whilst the Customer adheres to the ‘scheduled maintenance routine’ for the door. Failure to carry out the scheduled maintenance set out below will void the warranty above.

SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE ROUTINE

• An annual service is to be carried out the first year after install, Bi-annual there after by a qualified and authorised technician.
• Tracks are to remain free of debris or non-approved oil based lubricants
• Door is to remain free of obstructions

WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

• Motor globes
• Corrosion
• Remote Controls
• Wireless devices
• After market fittings
• Damage as set out below

 WARRANTY IS VOIDED UNDER THE FOLLOWING CIRUMSTANCES

• Damage is caused to the door or motor (opener) due to an impact
• Damage is caused to the door or motor (opener) due to a weather event
• Accidental damage of any kind
• Damage is caused to the door or motor (opener) due to the application of any lubricant other than silicon spray
• Failure to adhere to ‘Scheduled Maintenance Routine’ as set out above
• Damaged caused by corrosion
• Damaged caused by customers re-setting motor (opener) limits beyond installation settings

MOTOR WARRANTY

All Garage door openers are sold with a manufacturer’s warranty of between 5 and 7 years, depending upon the model purchased and above scheduled maintenance as above.

Regular Servicing by an authorised professional is a condition of Merlin’s Warranty. In addition, the warranty could be voided in circumstances including:

• damage caused by weather, corrosion, impacts, accidents, power surges
• locking rods are fitted
• Accidental damage of any kind
